Nice to meet you. We're #tide, a provider of recycled ocean-bound plastics for sustainable products.
The QR-code you just scanned is attached to a product made of our sustainable #tide ocean material®, which has been sourced through a regionalized supply chain and is driven by social impact.
Where others see waste, we see value. Which is why we give ocean-bound plastic a second life as a valuable resource.
We have developed an award winning method to upcycle ocean-bound plastic waste into new quality products, for instance textiles for tote bags or baseball caps, like the product you are carrying right now thanks to Julius Baer.
Your contribution is well appreciated. It allows us to continue working to solve the world's plastic pollution problem.
The plastic for #tide ocean material® has been collected at the following locations:

In Thailand for example, we collaborate with fishermen in the Andaman Sea. They pick up plastic waste from the ocean, from the coast and from uncontrolled landfills close to the coast and according to the standards set by the internationally renown OBP-certification.
This plastic waste is collected by fishermen and local communities and brought to a social enterprise in Ranong, Thailand. We give waste a value by paying the collectors and the sorting team for their work, before it is further processed.
